Make sure both devices are on the same network, MacOn is running on the Mac, and the Mac is awake. One thing that surprises people: if the lid is closed, the Mac has to be plugged into power for the screen to stay available. That's how macOS handles clamshell mode, not something we can change.
Install MacOn on the Mac and the companion on your iPhone or iPad, open both, and follow the pairing steps in the app. The docs walk through the whole setup, including wake and unlock.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If anything about billing looks wrong, email help@macon.id and we'll help you sort it out.
Email help@macon.id or open an issue on GitHub. A screenshot or a short recording of what went wrong makes fixes much faster.
The privacy policy covers it in plain language. If you have a question it doesn't answer, email us.
We're a small team, so you're talking to the people who actually build MacOn. Most emails get a reply within one business day.
