MacOn Pro

Manage your subscription

Where you manage MacOn Pro depends on who took the payment. If you bought it in the app, that was Apple. If you bought it on this site, that was Paddle.

Not sure which one you have?

Open the companion and look in Settings, MacOn Pro. It says where your Pro came from, and its Manage button sends you to the right place. A purchase made on the web is labelled as such.

Bought in the app, through Apple

Everything lives on your Apple Account, not in MacOn, so this is the same place you manage every other subscription:

From there you can switch between Weekly, Monthly and Yearly, or cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then the app goes back to the free tier with everything else intact.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. It lives on your Apple Account, so it keeps renewing until you cancel it there.

Bought Lifetime or a Day Pass? Neither is a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and nothing will be charged again. A Day Pass simply stops after its 24 hours.

Bought on the web, through Paddle

Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases made on this site, which means they hold the payment method and the invoice.

A cancellation there behaves the same way: Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for, then the app returns to free.

Refunds

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to the payment and cannot refund one ourselves. For a Paddle purchase, get in touch and we will sort it out. See the terms for the detail.

Pro is not showing up

Worth trying in this order:

  1. Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases, or find it in Settings under MacOn Pro. This is the fix nine times out of ten, especially on a new device or after a reinstall.
  2. Check you are signed into the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Pro follows the account, not the phone.
  3. Bought on the web? Paste your link code into Settings, MacOn Pro, Bought on the web?. The code is on your Paddle receipt.
  4. Still nothing, and a Day Pass? Check the clock. A Day Pass is 24 hours from the moment of purchase and it does end.

If none of that works, email us with the link code and roughly when you bought it, and we will find it.
