Your link code
This is the code that ties a purchase to the install you came from. Keep it somewhere you can find it, and paste it into the app under Settings, MacOn Pro, Bought on the web? if a purchase ever needs moving across by hand.

Linking a purchase you made here
If you bought MacOn Pro on this site, your receipt carries a link code. In the companion, open Settings, MacOn Pro, Bought on the web? and paste it in. The app identifies as that customer and Pro appears. You only ever need to do this once per device, and Restore Purchases handles it after that.
Nothing about this is a purchase flow, so it works whether or not web checkout is open.
Managing or cancelling
Bought in the app? Manage it in Apple's subscription settings. Bought here? Use the portal link on your receipt. Both routes are spelled out on the manage page.
Questions
Why would I buy on the web rather than in the app?
Mostly you would not, and in the app is simpler. Web checkout exists for people who would rather not put a purchase on their Apple Account, and for regions where a local payment method works better than the App Store.
Does Pro cover both my iPhone and my iPad?
Yes. It is one purchase, and Restore Purchases brings it to any device signed into the same Apple Account.
What happens to my free 40 minutes a day?
They stop mattering. Pro is unlimited remote, so the meter is not counting anything any more. On your own network you were never metered in the first place.
Is the Mac app or the CLI ever paid?
No. The macon CLI is MIT licensed and open source, and the Mac app is free. Pro is only ever about the iPhone and iPad companion.
